Quote: You can ask for a new one online if you know the number that runs up and down next to your picture. This is why I always make a copy of my DL and CCs and keep them in my safe at home. Thanks for the help. I found a copy of my license I had scanned in when we bought a new home in 2008. Had the audit number and everything.
That was shot down when the site wouldn't let me in. I'm guessing when I changed my address, my license probably got a new audit number. It's good I'm not traveling anywhere for a while. And that I look over 21. Quote: You can ask for a new one online if you know the number that runs up and down next to your picture. Even with the audit number, you can only replace a lost license online if you are eligible to renew. Two very important eligibility requirements: # Card will expire in less than one year and has not been expired for more than two years.
# Last renewal was in person at a Texas Driver License office. If you lack in comprehension skills. That second requirement says that every other renewal must be in person. This is so they can update your picture. So lost or not, if you renewed it online last time, you must wait in line.
So good luck with that one.
